Yoga in Todi centro

The word yoga is derived from Sanskrit from the root yuj, meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. Yoga aims to create union between body, mind and spirit.

At Elementyl, we aim to create yoga for Every Body, Every Level.

  • Entrance lounge

Our students enjoy socializing and connecting in our cozy entrance lounge before and after class. This inviting space encourages conversation and community among fellow practitioners. Additionally, we provide water before and after class, and often soothing herbal tea after class.

Our offerings

  • Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga is a practice that helps enhance overall health and well-being. It is a “Yang” type of yoga - fast paced and dynamic. You will continuously move from one pose into the next, called an asana or flow. Sessions will begin with setting an intention, breath work, moving through a flow to music, ending with savasana. This class is suitable for beginner through experienced yoga practitioners.

  • Yin yang

Yin yang yoga is a practice that focuses on relaxing (Yin) and strengthening (Yang). It is a class in which you are both physically challenged and completely relaxed. Sometimes we begin with Yin, sometimes Yang. Either way, by balancing your Yin and Yang, your energy flow will increase, giving you a peaceful balanced mind and body. This class is suitable for beginner through experienced yoga practitioners.

  • Hatha

    Hatha

Hatha yoga is a slower paced practice that involves precision, alignment, stability, grounding, strength and flexibility. A typical Hatha class includes holding postures for a few breaths at a time, putting focus on individual postures rather than the sequence and linking between postures.

  • Yin

Yin yoga is the perfect compliment to Vinyasa. It targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, hips, spine, ligaments, and joints. Because you’re holding poses for 3-5 minutes, it helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues, while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts. This is a very passive, yet challenging class and is suitable for all levels.

  • Restorative

Restorative yoga is a passive type of yoga that explores relaxation and gentle stretching, in which poses are held for longer periods (5-20 minutes), typically involving props for support. It is purely a relax and release practice. This practice is especially beneficial to those who are recovering from an injury or illness, experiencing a great deal of stress, or those who just want to slow down and relax.

  • Thai yoga massage

Thai Yoga Massage enhances your yoga practice and combines techniques from Thai massage, shiatsu, and yoga postures. The body is stretched, joints are moved, and it feels like your own sacred dance. This ancient technique activates self-healing within the body, promotes relaxation, wellness, and emotional balance. The massage is done fully clothed on a large, comfortable floor mat.
