Cosmic Cradle EnergyAs we move through 19 to 25 July, we are held inside a truly rare cosmic moment known as Barbault's Basket, an extraordinary alignment of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Jupiter forming a harmonious, cradle-like shape in the sky. Peaking between 19 and 21 July, this alignment is said to occur only once every few centuries, historically coinciding with profound waves of innovation, healing, and collective progress. In yoga, we often speak of alignment not just as physical posture, but as an inner state of balance and openness. This week invites us to mirror the sky, finding steadiness within ourselves, creating space for renewal, and trusting that even subtle shifts in awareness can lead to meaningful transformation.

Fill Your Cup, Then SailFriday, 24 July marks International Self-Care Day, and we'll be honouring it all week through our inner compass cards and class themes centered on self-care. Our Friday Yacht Rock Hatha class at 10:00 will focus on "me time," a chance to slow down and reconnect. Self-care is about tending to your whole being: physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. It can be as simple as quiet time, or as intentional as building routines that support your well-being. This might look like maintaining healthy sleep, journaling, practicing gratitude, setting boundaries, or asking for help when needed. Whether it's enjoying music, reading, or sharing time with a friend, these small acts help reduce stress, restore energy, and remind us that we cannot pour from an empty cup.

Permission to Completely MeltAs part of our self-care week, Happy Hips Yin joins the schedule on Sunday at 17:00, gently releasing tension held in the hips while inviting a slower, cooling, more introspective practice. Restorative Yoga follows on Monday at 10:00, designed to deeply relax the nervous system and promote cooling, restorative healing from within. Thai Yoga Massage is also available to book every afternoon, offering a unique blend of assisted stretching, acupressure, and mindful touch to release tension and restore balance. These practices are powerful tools for self-care, helping to improve circulation, reduce stress, and support overall well-being.
