Ignite your inner fire

June arrives like a deep breath of warm air — full of light, possibility, and an invitation to step fully into your power. This month, we ignite our fire, working with the Fire element and the energy of Manipura, the Solar Plexus Chakra — the seat of confidence, will, and radiant self-expression. As we move into Great Outdoors Month, our practice expands beyond the mat and into the world around us. There is a quiet magic in this season, a sense that something is stirring just beneath the surface, waiting to unfold. Week by week, we move through freedom, flow, radiance, and balance, letting the body become both compass and flame. Along the way, our focus poses echo the energy of the month: expansive standing shapes in Week 1, fluid transitions in Week 2, sun-centered strength in Week 3, and grounding lunar stillness in Week 4.

First Flow Hike

On Monday, June 15 at 9:00 AM, we step into the wild beauty of Titignano for our Flow Hike — a gentle meeting of breath, movement, and landscape. This scenic 6.9 km out-and-back trail begins in the historic village of Titignano (where parking is available) and takes about 2 to 2.5 hours with a gentle 181-meter elevation gain. Beginning near the Castello di Titignano and passing through Bracci, the path leads to the Ruins of La Roccaccia, with a stunning panoramic view over the Tiber River at the turnaround point. James Poole-Ricketts will lead the hike, with Jennifer guiding yoga poses at a few stopping points along the way. Afterward, there is the option to linger over lunch in Titignano — an easy, joyful way to let the morning unfold a little longer.

Solstice Sparkle

Sunday, June 21 brings the brightest threshold of the month, when International Yoga Day and the Summer Solstice meet in a single radiant exhale. It is the longest day of the year, and a beautiful invitation to honour all the light we have been growing inside and around us. We'll open the day with Vinyasa at 10:00, moving with the sun's energy and building warmth from the inside out. Later, we'll gather for Happy Hips Yin at 17:00, letting the hips soften and release as the day begins to glow into the golden hour. After class, we’ll raise a glass of chilled Prosecco together — a little solstice sparkle to celebrate summer’s arrival, shared practice, and the simple sweetness of being in community on a luminous June evening.

Moon Medicine

The month closes beneath the glow of the Strawberry Moon, the June full moon whose name carries the sweetness of ripening fruit and the quiet abundance of the season. In 2026, this moon arrives on June 29, offering a tender moment to pause, reflect, and receive what has grown. Our special Full Moon Restorative Yoga class will be shaped by that lunar energy, inviting the body to soften, the breath to deepen, and the nervous system to settle into its own healing rhythm. This is a practice of surrender and replenishment — a way to let the moonlight do some of the work, and to remember that healing can be gentle, spacious, and whole.

Thai Touch

June is also a beautiful time for Thai Yoga Massage, especially as the fire of the season rises and the body asks for both release and renewal. This session takes place in our quiet, calming studio, where you’ll rest on a cushioned floor mat while our practitioner and healer, Nicole, guides you through gentle stretches, rhythmic pressure, and mindful movement. The practice pairs naturally with the month’s energy, helping to ease tension, improve circulation, and restore balance without asking for more effort. It is a grounding complement to all the movement, sunlight, and expansiveness of June — a way to stay open, nourished, and well held.
